Ashton West is a Director at Fidu Consultancy and a non-executive director of the national law firm Weightmans LLP. He was previously General Manager of the Motor Insurers Bureau and received an OBE for Road Safety Services in 2015. He is a licensed insurance practitioner and brings significant knowledge about claims and general insurance. Commenting on his appointment to SOCP`s Board of Directors, West said, “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to join SOCP`s Advisory Board. It is important that we all continue to promote the true value of insurance to the public, build trust and demonstrate the importance of professionals in the delivery of insurance services.
